ProofClerk

Terms

Terms boundary

These terms describe ProofClerk as a workspace for organizing custom order evidence records and exportable packets.

Merchant-provided records

Merchants are responsible for the accuracy, permissions, and appropriateness of records, files, policy text, customer communications, and evidence uploaded to ProofClerk.

Approval language and policy templates are merchant-provided. ProofClerk does not review them as legal counsel.

Service boundaries

ProofClerk helps organize records and generate evidence packets. It does not submit disputes, contact payment processors on a merchant's behalf, decide fault, or guarantee customer, platform, payment processor, refund, or dispute outcomes.

Public sample packet and demo routes are examples only and are separate from production workspace records.

Account access

Workspace owners and admins control member access, billing actions, privacy exports, and customer PII redaction. Staff access is intentionally narrower.

Private workspace, approval, admin, export, and API surfaces are designed to avoid public indexing and caching.
